INTRODUCTION

I have now set up and configured every one of my website design sites (and those potentially available to you my lovely customers) with a chat facility via a box in either the right or left on the bottom of any scrollable page in that website design site. It works for desktop, laptop, mobile and tablet. It remains fixed in position at the base of any scrollable website design page. To launch just click on the bubble chat button and type your message. All chat website design and developments are highly configurable in colours, backgrounds, fonts etc. etc. so can be made to match your site concept and layout.

The great advantage of the KHWD chat box is the ability to instantaneously give your audience the potential to contact you immediately and in my humble opinion more importantly instant information about a website design visitor by just having the WIX spaces app on your mobile, whether from the Apple store or Google play store dependent on you using iOS or Android as your mobile operating system.

AI CHATBOT (from Dec 2025)

Setting up the new Wix AI Chatbot is designed to feel less like a technical chore and more like adding a smart, intuitive teammate to your website. The process begins inside the Wix dashboard, where the AI Chatbot tool guides you through a short series of prompts about your business, your services, and the type of support you want visitors to receive. Instead of manually scripting responses, you feed the chatbot the core information—your brand tone, FAQs, product or service details—and it automatically generates a conversational system tailored to your site.

Once activated, the chatbot integrates seamlessly with your existing pages. It can pull information from your site content, store pages, booking system, or blog, allowing it to answer questions with surprising accuracy. You can refine its behaviour at any time: adjust the tone, update the knowledge base, or add specific instructions for how it should handle enquiries. Wix also gives you control over appearance, so the chatbot feels like a natural extension of your brand rather than a generic widget.

Using the chatbot is equally straightforward. Visitors simply click the chat icon and begin typing. The AI handles everything from basic questions to more complex requests, such as checking availability, recommending products, or directing users to the right page.
